V~IiEREAM, the unprecedented growth of the City of Brenerton due to
War conditions and the consequent increases in the de~ands for City
services have resulted in a great increase in the number of employees
of the City of Bremerton and a great increase in the demand for space
in the City Hall, end
~HEREAS, the increase in population and territorial limits of the
City of Bre~erton makes it appear to the City Council of the City of
Bremerton that the present over-crowded condition of the City Hall and
the lack of sufficient space for adequate Police Department and Jail
facilities at the City Hall ~akes it necessary and advisable that
additional space be secured for the construction of a City Hall Annex
to relieve congestion at tim City Hall in the City of Bremerton;
NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Attorney of the City of Bremerton, be
and he is hereby instructed and directed to prepare condemnation pro-
ceedings for the condemnation of the following described real property;
Lots 14 end 15, Block 7, Plat of the Town of Rremerton,
Kitsap County, Washington
in order that said real property m._y be developed for use by the City
of Bremerton to relieve congestion at the City Hall.
