WHEREAS, the County of Kitsap, State of,Washington, foreclosed for general taxes
on the following described real property-to-wit:
Lot 8, Block 2, Bayview Addition to Bremerton, Kitsap County, Washington,ALSO
Lot 12, and North half of Lot 15, Block 5, First Addition to Charleston,
Kitsap County, Washington,
and the said property was struck off to the said County of Kitsap at the tax fore-
closure sale, there were delinquent assessments against the said property payable
to different local improvement districts in the City of Bremerton, and the City of
Bremerton did pay to Kitsap County the taxes thereon as by law provided and has now
a Treasurer,s Deed to said property, and the said City of Bremerton is desirous of
selling said property to pay the taxes and delinquent assessments assessed against
the said real property, and
WHEREAS' the City Council determined by Resolution No. 443, passed on .the 2nd
day of May, 1945, to sell said property to the highest and best bidder for cash or
te~ms and the said property was advertised for sale in the official city newspaper,
and L.C. Mignon and Sigrid Mignon, his wife, made the highest and best bid, to-wit,
the sum of $1285.00, and the City Council of the City of Bremerton has accepted the
said bid and desired to sell the said property to the successful bidders, now therefore
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton that the Mayor and
City Clerk thereof, be and they are hereby authorized and directed to sell said above
described property to L.C. Mignon and Sigrid Rlignon, his wife, for the total purchase
price of $218~.00, and for that purpose to enter into a contract with the said b~ignon
and wife for said sale in the name of the City of Bremerton, the said contract to
provide for a cash payment of $300.00, and the balance in the sum of $985.00, payable
in monthly installments of $40.00 per month, plus ir~B~est at seven per cent per annum,
payable at the time said installments are paid, the said contract to provide that the
purchaser shall pay the taxes and assessments hereafter levied, and provide that time
be the essence of the contract, with forfeiture of moneys paid, in the event that the
purchase price is not paid within the time providqc~ therein, and also to execute a
deed in the name of the City of Bremerton, in favor of L.C.Mignon and Sigrtd Mignon,
his wife, the said deed to be retained by the City Clerk until the full purchase price
is paid, together with interest thereon, and to be delivered to said purchasers at
such time as the said purchase price anG interest are paid in full.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton, signed by the Mayor, and
attested by the City Clerk in authentication of such passage, on the 23rd day of May,
1945,
