WHEREAS, the County of Kitsap, State of ~'ashington, foreclosed for general taxes
on the following dsscribed real property, to-wit:
Lots North 39 and South 39, Block 10, Charleston, Kitsap County,
Washington, comprising 50 ft. frontage,
and th~ said property was struck off to tho s~id Co~ty of Kitsap at the tax foreclosure
sale, there were d~linqu~nt assessments against th8 said property payable to different
local improvsm~nt dist~.icts ~n th~ C~ty of Br~merton, and th~ City of Erem~rton did pay
to Kits~p County the tax~s theroon as by law provided and has now a Tr~a~%~rer's Deed
to said ~.~rop~rty, and the said C~ty of Bremerton ts dssfrous of selling said property
to pay thc taxes ~nd delinquent assessments assessed against the sai~ real property, and
?J{EREAS, the City Council dete~incd by R~sol~tion No. 42!, passed on the 1~ th day
of February, 19dY, to sell said property to thc l~ighest and boat bid~r for cash or
te~ms and the said property was advertised for sale in tho official city 'aewsi~a~r,
F. F. HaLan ~nd G~rtrude A. ~iagan, his wife, made the highest and best bid, to-wit, th~
s~ of ~1~2~.00, and the City Co~cil of the City of Br~m~rton has accepted the said bid
a~]d desires to sell the sai~.~ property to th~ successful bidders, now therefore,
BE iT RESOLVED by the City Co~cil of tbs City of Bremerton that the ~ayor and City
Clerk thereof, be and they are h~reby authorized ~d dir~ctsd to s~]l said aLove d~scribed
property to F. F. t{aga~ and Gertrude A. Hagan, his wife for the total purchas8 price of
$1~25.00 and for that purpose to enter into a contract with the said Hagan and wife for
said sale in the n~e of the C~_ty of Bremerton, the said contract to provid~ for a
cash payment of ~24~5.00, and the balanc~ in the s~ of ~980.00 payabl~ in monthly install-
ments of ~$1~.00 per month, plus interest at s~v~] per c~nt per annum, payabl~ at the time
sa~d installments are paid, the said contract to providu that the purchaser shall pay
the taxes and assessments hereafter levied, and p~vide that tim~ be th~ ~ssence of the
contract, with forfeitur~ of moneys pair], in the 8vent that the purchase pric~ is no5
paid within the tlm~ provided therein, and also to 8x~cute a d~d in th8 name of the City
of Br~merton, in favor of F. F. Hagan and Gsrtrude A. Hagan, his wife, the said d~ed to
be r~tained by thc City Clerk until the full purchase price is paid, together %~ith
in~er~st thereon, and to be doli%~red to said purchaser at such tim~ as the sa~d purchas~
pric~ and interest are paid in full.
