I~EREAB, The City of Bremerton previous~ acquired the herein-
after described real property for delinquent taxes and assessments
and has sold the same pursuant to law, and
WHEREAS, the description at the time of sale describes said
property with relation to Elizabeth Street,&id not describe the full
portion of said tract up to the center line ~ing between Elizabeth
Street and ~arren Avenue, leaving a tract of land five feet wide still
in the name of the City of Bremerton, and
WHEREAS, The City of Bremerton intended to convey all of said
tract up to the said center line, now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and the City Clerk be, and they
are hereby authorized to execute a Quit Claim Deed to R. H. Hatch
and Maud Catherine Hatch, record ovmers of said property, to the
following described property:
That part of Lot 5, Tract ~, Warren Smith's Acre Tracts,
according to plat thereof recorded in volume 2 of Plats,
page ~l, records of said county, described as follows:
Beginning at a point 20 feet west of the southeast
corner of said tract on the west line of Elizabeth
Avenue; thence north 63.50 feet; thence west 134.30
feet, more or less, to the east line of the west half
of said tract as the same was originally platted in
volume 2 of Plats, page 51, records of said county;
thence south along said east line of the west half
63.50 feet to the south line of said lot 5; thence
east 134.45 feet; more or less, to the point of be-
ginning,
and to deliver said deed, when execute~, to the Bremerton Title Compaq.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton, signed by
the Mayor, and attested by the City Clerk in authentication of such
passage, this ~L_ day of December, 1946.
