~EAS, the Census Board, pursuant %o the provisions of Chapter
231, Laws of 1943, fixed the population of the City of Bremerton at 72,000,
and pursuant to the provi~ons of said law, which is in full force and effect~
the official population of the City of Bremerton was on Septemoer l, 1946,
far in excess of 35,000 inhabitants~
BE IT RESOLVED, That the City Council of the City of Bremerton finds
tha+. the population of the City of B~emerton as of Septemoer 1,1946, was
far in ~xcess of 35,0G0. ~_~
