WHEREAS, that certain short street lmmadiately north of and
adjcxning Evergreen ParX and running from East to West, was officially
named "Park Drive" by the terms of Ordinance No.iOOSA of the City of
Bremerton, and the persons owning property on said street filed a
petition with the City Oouneil and a delegation of such persons
appeared before the City Council on September 11, 1945, urging that
the name "Park Drive" be reteine~ amd the City Council of the City
of Bremerton believes it to be to the best interests of the City of
Bremerton that the request of the residents and property owners be
complied with, new the~'efore,
BE IT RESOLVED that ~ henceforth the sal~ street be Xnown
as "Pare Drmve-, in conformance with the provisions of Ordinance
No. iO08A of the City of Bremerton, and the City Engineer and the
City Water Department are cirected to correct all city records and
post the name "Par~ D~ive" on sai~ street as the official name
thereof; it is further
RESOLVED that the provisions of Resolution No. ~-$~ be
and the same are hereby cancelled, set aside and held for naught
sofaras the provisions of sazd Ordinance relate to Park Drive,
sometimes ~newn as Sixteenth Street.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton, signed
by the Mayor, e~ atoested by the City Clerk in authentication of
