~,~E~R.F~kS, 18th Street which is i~ediately .~Orth of and adjoin-
ing Evergreen Park which runs from East to 7~est, and said street
has been designated as 18th Street on the official numbering map
as provided for in Ordinance $57 of the City of ~emerton, ~nd
17P/~REAS, Sunmit Avenue which runs iforth and South and is the
street between Lafayette Avenue and Hartford Avenue and has been
designated as S~it Avenue on the official num. bering map adopted
by Ordinance 8~? of the City of Sre~erton, and
~..TIr~R~kS, some confusion Itas existed due to the fact theft 16th
Street has been sometimes referred to as Park Drive and Surmuit
Avenue has been sometimes referred to As Tracy Street, and it is
desired to eliminate all of said confusion, and to provide for
uniform naming of streets as provided for in the several ordinanc-
es of the City of '~remerton; now therefore;
~ IT RESOL'~E~D that the official numbering ma~ as adopted by
Ordinance ~SS? of the Oity of ~remerton, be and the saa~e is here-
by ratified and confirmed, and that 16th Street shall not be refer-
red to as Park Drive in any official 6ity matter and,
HE IT ~RT?I~R RESOLVED that Summit Avenue shall be known as
Summit Avenue and shall not be referred to as Tracy Street in any
official ui~r matters, and
BE IT ~TL~2 RESOLVED, that the 0ity Engineer be, and he is
authorized and directed to erect street signs designating such
streets officially as 16th Street and Summit Avenue.
PASSED unanimously this ~ day of September, 194-6, signed
by the I~iayor and attested by the City Clerk in authentication of
l~Iayor
