election will be held in the City of Bremerton, State of
Washington, for the purpose of electing officers of the United
States, the State of Washington and Kitsap County, and upon
which several important propositions will be submitted to the
voters of the City of Bremerton for adoption or rejection;
and
WHEREAS, all offices of the United States, the State of
Washington and Kitsap County will be closed on said date; and
~F~REAS, by Section 5 of Ordin~ce No. 1671 of the City
of Bremerton as amended by Ordinance No. 1741, dated June 27,
1947, the City Coumcil may by resolution proclaim a legal
holiday; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED by the City ~ouncil of the City of Bremerton
that Tu~sday~NoVember 2, 1948,be proclaimed a legal holiday in
the City of Bremerton and that all city offices be closed on
said date.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Bremerton, s~ned
by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in authentication
of such passage, this 2~day of October, 1948.
