to the 0ity Council the results of an election held on the 3rd day
of April,1948, in Callow, Snyder and phinney Bay precincts,i'~itsap
CoJ~nt , ~ashingtoc, on the cuesta, on of whether or not the following
described territo~ should be annexed to the ~zt., of Bremerton; and
~REAS, the said election board has certified that 351 votes were
cast in the said election, of ~ich 196 voters were for annexation
and 155 voted against annexation, and the Doard of County Co~issioners
has certified '~t sai~ proposition for annexation did carry accord-
ing to law; now therefore

deems it wise and e~edient that the following described t~rritory
waich is contiguous to the City of Bremerton should be a~exed~ the
Oit~ of mremerton, said territo~ being legally described as follows:
Co~nencing at the Southwest corner of Lot b, Block 4, l~[idway
Adaition; thence Northerly 850 feet to the centerline of Ford
Avenue and 19th Street; thence continuinf~ Northerly along the
centerline of Ford Avenue 1330 feet,more or less, to the center-
lfne of ~ord AVenue and 24th Street; thence Northerly on the
c~nterline of Ford .~venue extended 170 feet,more or less; thence
~ast along the South line of Lot 5, BlocX 5, Broadview Flat,
to the SoUthwest corner of s~d ~ot 4; thence NOrtherly along
the ~st line of said Lot 4 ~d continuing a distance of 201.90
feet to the uorthwest corner of Lot 1, Olock 5, Eroadview plat;

of Bremerton is hereby ordered s~nd directed to prepare an or-
dinance providil~g for the aanexation of said territory in due
form of law.
