its lien for general taxes on the following described real property,
to-wit:
Lot 2, Block 4, Peter ltesser'm First
Addition to Bremer~n, aeoording to
the official plat thel'eoff
and said property was struck off to Kitsap County at the tax fore-
closure males and
W~EREAS, there were delinquent assessments against maid prop-
erty payable to Local improvement D~strict No. 104 of the 6ity of
Bremerton, and the city did pay to Kitmap County the taxes thereon
aa by law provided and received a treasurer's deed for said prop-
erty and the city now desires to sell said property to pay the
taxes a_nd delinquent assessments! and
~ER;~A8, the city has received an offer from ~'~'!ar.garet Adam~,
a widow, to purchase said p~operty for the sum of $2?§.00, $$$.00
cf which is to ~e paid upon execution of a contract of male and ~
the balance in mont~ly i~stallmente of $20.00, plus interest at
the rate of 6% per annum, and it a~pears that maid property is
reasonably worth said sum and it is in the best interests of the
city to sell said property for that amount and upon those terms~
now, there fore
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Bremer~en
that the May~,r and the CityOlerk be and they are hereby aathorimed
and directed to sell said pro~:erty to Margaret Adams, a widow, for
the total purchase price of $~?§.00, and for that purpose to enter
into a contract with said p~wchamer in the name of the City of
Bremerton, said contract to provide for a cash payment of $$~.00
and the balance to be paid in monthly installments of $20.00 per
month, plus interest on unpaid balances aS the rate of ~% per an~l~$
the said contract to provide ~hat the purchaser ahallpay all taxes
and assessments hereafter levied and for forfeiture of al laums pai~

in the event that the purchase price is not paid in the amounts
and within the time provided in said contract.
BE IT F~THER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk be and
they are hereby authorized to execute a deed in the name of the
City of Bremerton in favor of the said ~argaret Adams, a widow,
said deed to be r~tained by the City Treasurer tuutil the entire
purchase price has been paid and then to be delivered to said
purchaser herein.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Bremertc~, signed
by the ~ayor and attested by the City Clerk in authentication of
such passage, this 15~ day of April, I~B.
