WheREAS, the assessment roll for Local Improvement District No. 234 ·
providing for the assessment to pay the improvement of
the alley in Blocks 5 and 8, Phillips Addition to Bremerton, lying between
Burweld Street and Gregory Way and extending from High Avenue to State
Ave nu e,
has been filed with the City Clerk ef the City ef Bremerton.
NOW, THEP~0RE, be it resolved ~ha% Wgdnesday,. the 2~t~ day of
October. 1247 at lOs00 9'clock A.M. of said day at
the' Council Chambers at the City Hall of the City of Bremerton be and the same is
hereby fixed as the time and place for the hearing upon said assessment roll and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be and he is hereby authorized
and directed to give notice of the t~ and ~tace of said hearing to all persons
who may desire to object to such assessment roll to make such objections in
writing and file the same with the City Clerk at or prior to the date fixed for
such hearing, by properties whose name appears upon said assessment roll, by
mailing a notice thereof at least fifteen (15) days before the date herein set
for such hearing to such ovmer or repute,.d ol~n~ at the address of such owner as
shown on the tax rolls of the County Treasurer for the property described on
said list and shall further give notice of Such hearing by publishing such notice
at least five (5) times in the official newspaper~ the last publication of which
shall be at least fifteen (15) days prior to the date herein fixed for said
hearing. The above-mentioned improvements include
clearing, grading and surfacing with concrete pavement 12' wide and 6" thick,
and providing for drainage,
together with the doing of any and all other work in connection therewith.
Passed by the City Council~ signed by the Mayor and attested by the City
