WHEREAS, the City of Bremerton was represented in the
City of Lewiston, Idaho during the recent American Legion Junior
Baseball Tourney in which teams from ~,Iontana, Ore,on, ~ds/ao and
7jaslington were all repr~sented; and
~EAS, the entry from the city of Dremerton was met and
entertained in the cit,7 of Lewiston by the officials of that citM
an~i by the Lewiston Rotary Club; and members of the team and o~her
representatives of the city were shown the greatest of hospitality;
N0~.~ ~I~EREFORE ~ IT HESOLV~D by the city council of the
city of Jremerton that the official thanks, of the city of Bremer~on,
State of Washington, be extsnded to the city of Lewiston, Idaho
and all of its elected and appointed officers, and to the Lewiston
Rotary Club, and that a copy of this resolution be transmitted
forthwith to the Honorable Leo J. ~l~iorgan , i~ayor of Lewiston,
Idaho and to the Lewiston ~otary Club.
Passed by the City Council, signed by the yayor and at-
tested by the City Clerk in authentication of such passage, this
~th day of August, 1947.
