~'~.'~ WHERF~AS, the lease dated July 1, 1945 between the United
States of America and the City of Bremerton, describing the lands
upon which a portion of the Duration Do~-~itories are situated
px~ovides that the United States shall pay .$2100.00 per year rental
less any payments made in lieu of taxes; and
VffHEREAS when the payments in lieu of taxes for the year 1946
were received, the entire amount was apportioned to the various funds
upon the basis of the budgeted receipts from this source; and
'~.~EREAS, the City of Bremerton is now in receipt of the sum
of $767.11 from the United States as rental for said lands for the
year 1946, which sum is determined by deducting the sTM of $1,332.89
paid in lieu of t axes from the annual rental of $2100.00; and
¥:~HEREAS the Sanitation F~nd should not be penalized by de-
ducting from its revenue amounts paid in lieu of taxes to other
Funds;
NOW TB~EREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council oF the
City of Bremerton that transfers be made fron one fund to another
as follows:
