City of Bremerton a petitio~ b~ the City of Eremerton, acting in
its proprietary capacity, petitioning that a portion of Rogers
Street more part~.cularty described as follows to-wit:
That portion of Rogers Street between the east
margin of ~ontgomery Avenue and the east line
of Sectiom 15, Township 24, North, Range 1,
E.¥.?., Kitsap County, ~/ashington
be vacated;and
~HEREAS it appears that the said City of Bremerton is the
sol~ owner of the real estate abutting upon such portion of
Eogers Street; and
WHEREAS it appears desirable that the petition of said city
be g~anted;
N0~i~ THEREFORE BE IT ~:~SOLVED by the City Council that said
petition be heard and determined on the 19th day of ~arch, 194V,
in the council chamber in the City Hall in the City of Bremerton;
and that the City Clerk give notice of the pendency of said
petition and set up a written or printed notice in three of the
most public places in said city and that a like notice be set
up in a conspicuous ~lace on the street to be vacated.
PASSED and approved unanimously by the City Council of the
City of Bremerton, signed by the ~ayor and attested by the Clerk

PETITION
The City of Bremerton, acting in its proprietary capacity,
hereby petitions the City Council of the City of Bremerton in
its official capacity, as follows:
That the Cit~ of ~remerton now owns in its proprietary capa-
city Lots 19 and 20, Blocx 7 and Lots 1, 2, 3, and 4, Block 18,
Plat of Charleston, and that the City of Bremerton is the sole
owner of any real estate abutting upon that portion of Rogers
Street between the east margin of Montgomery Avenue and the east
line of Section 15, Township 24, north, Range 1, E.~.M. Kitsap
County, ~ashington; that the 6ity of Bremerton desires to vacate
~ch part of Rogers Street;
W~EREFORE petitioner prays that the City Council by resolution
fix a time when this petition shall be heard and determined and
that upon such hearing being held its petition be granted and
the street vacated.
