WHEREAS, there has been filed with the City Council of the
City of Bremerton a petition re~ est~ng that the alley in
Block 24, plat of Charleston, between Su~it Avenue and La-
fayette Avenue, and lying Just north of porter Street, be
vacated; and
WHEREAS, it appears that the petition should be granted;
now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of t~he City of Bremerton
that said petition be heard and determined on August 10,1949, l0 ~.M.
in the council chamber in the City Hall in the City of Bremerton;
and that the City Clerk give notice of the pendency of said pe-
tition and set up a written or printed notice in three of the most
public places in said city and that a like notice be set up in a
conspicuous place on the street to be vacated.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Bremerton, ~gned by
the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in authentication of
such passage this 13th day of July, 1949.
