HomeMy WebLinkAbout684 ~Pi~REAS, the City of Bremerton has acquired upon various dates certain properties within the territorial limits of the City of Bremerton for park purposes; and L~!E~EAS, the Oarbage Dep~tment of 'the City of Bremerton has also acquired various properties for the pt~.rpose of' making sanitary fills and, following the completion of such fills,said pro~.~:erties have been utilized by the Park ~epartment for re- creation purposes; and ~]'i'JIEAS, there has never been any formal transfer of such properties made from the Garbage Department to the Park !)epart- ment and the re are now funds available ~i th which to reimburse the Garbage Department for the cost of acquiring such property; and '.,~HEREAS, it appears desirable at this time to define the boundaries of all the par~s and playfields in the City of Brem- erton; now, therefore HE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Bremert~ that there be transferred from the Park Fund to the Garbage ~and the sum of :j749.00 in payment of any properties acquired origi- nally by the GarbaMe Department and now used for parks and re- creation purposes and particularly those parcels, lots or tracts occupied by the Civic ~lecreation Center and Roosevelt Field.
