WHEREAS, the assessment roll for Local Improvement District No. 235 ,
providing for the assessment to pay the improvement of
UNIT I - Callow Avenue between 9th Street and 15th Street
UNIT II - ~ontgomery Avenue between 9th Street and 15th Street
UNIT III - Olympic Avenue bet~-~een Burwell Street and 6th Street
has been filed with the City Clerk of the City of Bremerton.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved that Wednesda~ the 2nd day of
~iarch, 1949 at 10:O0 o'clock A.M. of sa'id day at
the Council Chambers at the City Hall of the City of Bremerton be and the same is
hereby fixed as the time and place for the hearing upon said assessment roll and,
BE IT FJRTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be and he is hereby authorized
and directed to ~ive notice of the time and place of said hearing to all persons
who may desire to object to such assessment roll to make such objections in
writing and file the same with the City Clerk at or prior to tho date fixed for
such hearing, by properties whose n~me appears upon said assessment roll, by
mailing a notice thereof at least fifteen (15) days before the date herein set
for such hearing to such ovnaer or reputed ovrner at the address of such owner as
sho¥~ on the tax rolls of the County Treasurer for the property described on
said list and shall further give notice of such hearing by publishing such notice
at least five (5) times in the official ne~-~spaper~ the last publication of which
shall be at least fifteen (15) days prior to the date herein fixed for said
hearing. The above-mentioned improvements include
clearing, g~bbing, gradin,~ for and constructions, of concrets sidev~lks,
c~rbs and gutters and providing for drainag2e ms ~hown on tke origir~l
plans filed ~ith the City Clerk,
together with the doing of any and all other work in connection therewith.
Passed by the City Council, signed by the ~ayor and attested by the City
Clerk in authentication of such passage this gnd day of F~bruary ,
