I~REAS, the assessment roll for Local Improvement District No. 236.
providing for the assessment to pay the improvement of
UNIT I - Ohio Avenue from Thirteenth Street to North end
UNIT II - Seventeenth Street between Ohio Avenue and High Avenue
has been filed ~,~ith the City Clerk of the City of Bremerton.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved that Wednesdayt the 2nd day of
February, 1949 at 10:00 o'clock A.M. of said day at
the Council Chambers at the City Hall of ~he City of Bremerton be and the same is
hereby fixed as the time and place for the hearing upon said assessment roll and,
BE IT FJRTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be and he is hereby authorized
and directed to give notice of the ~time and place of said hearing to all persons
who may desire to object to such assessment roll to make such objections in
v~iting and file the same with the city Clerk at or prior to the date fixed for
such hearing, by properties whose name appears upon said assessment roll, by
mailing a notice thereof at least fifteen (l~) days before the date herein set
for such hearing to such ovmer or reputed owner at the addr:sss of such owner as
sho~,~n on the tax rolls of the County Treasurer for the property described on
said list and shall further give notice of such hearing by publishing such notice
at least five (~) times in the official newspaper~ the last publication of which
shall be at least fifteen (l~) days prior to the date herein fixed for said
hearing. The above-mentioned improvements include
clearing, grubbing, ~rading for and construction of ~' concrete sidewalks~
concrete curbs and gutters and providing for drainage,
together with the doing of any and all other work in connection therev~ith.
Passed by the City Council~ signed by the }~ayor and attested by the City
Clerk in authentication of such passage this ~2th day of . january ,
