WHEREAS, the City of Bremerton is the owner of property
situate in Kitsap County, Washington, legally known and described
as follows, to-wit:
The South half of the Northeast quarter of the
Northeast quarter of Section 2, Township 23
North, Range I West, W.M.;
and WHEREAS, Kathryn Therese McCormick is the owner of
property in Kitsap County, Washington, legally known and described
as follows, to-wit:
The North one-half of the Northwest quarter of the
Northeast quarter, Section 2, Township 23 North,
Range i West, W.M.;
and WHEREAS, it appears that the property owned by Kathryn Therese
McCormick if acquired by the City of Bremerton would afford protec-
tion to the Twin Lakes area and the portion of the Bremerton Water-
shed adjoining, and that the property owned by the City of Bremerton
does not afford such protection and that said tracts are of approx-
imately equal value; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Bremerton exchange its prop-
erty described as
The South half of the Northeast quarter of the
Northeast quarter of Section 2, Township 23
North, Range i West, W.~., Kitsap County, Washington;
with Kathryn Therese McCormick, a single woman, by the execution and
delivery of a proper deed from the City of Bremerton, signed by the
Eayor and City Clerk, and to accept from Kathryn Therese McCormick,
a deed to the property in her name, said exchange of deeds to be
without the payment of consideration on the part of either of the
partie s.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton, signed
by the ~yor and attested by the City Clerk in authentication of
such passage this llth day of October,19~. ,, A . n
