WHEP~AS, in the Fire Department budget for 1950 there was
a provision made for the position of Fire Ala~--, Electrician and
the person holdin& such position in addition to his duties for
the Fire Department works under the supervision of the Traffic
Division of the Police Department m_~intainin~ traffic signs and
signals, and
WHEREAS, the position of Fire Alarm Electrician is now
vacant and the work of said Fire Alarm Electrician is principally
for the traffic department and whereas it is deemed desirable that
the work be done by an electrician not a member of the Fire Depart-
ment, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED that the balance of the appropriation for
Fire Alarm Electrician remaining in the 1950 budget be and hereby
is transferred to the Police Department for the Traffic Division
thereof, and the balance of said money used for the maintenance
of traffic signs and signals and such other work as m~y be neces-
sary or incidental thereto.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton, signed
by the Nayor and attested by the City Clerk in authentication
of such passage this 13th day of September, 1950.
