A strip 10 feet in width on both sides of the following

~7il!ow Street, westerly from Stephenson Avenue to a
point 60 feet north of the intersection with

ALSO. to vacate a strip 5 feet in width on both sides of
Ivy ~treet.
f~LSO, to vacate all land lying within the 100 foot right-

in June, 19~$, e~cept where the right-of-way abuts Lunicipat
Area ~o. 3.
'ALSO, to vacate Farragut Boulevard.
And ~H~[EAS, it appears that said streets and other portions
of property hereinabove described were laid out in connection with
the use by the United States Government for war housing and that
the streets were increased in width due to increased travel at
that t~le, and
~HE~AS, it appears that the Housing and Home Finance
Agency of the Public Housing Administration now desires to plat
the real property adjoinin~ and abutting upon the streets herein
described as a First Addition to the Plat of Sheridan Park, and
that in replatting, the extra wide streets encroach upon the lots
to be platted in said area an unreasonable distance, and
~HEREA5, it appears that the ~idth o~~ the streets may be
reduced as requested ~,~ithout damage, and it appears desirable that
the petition should be granted.
IfO~,'~, THE2EFORE, BE IT ~ESOLV~'.D by the City Council that said
petition be heard and. determined on the l~th day o£ July, 1950,
