WHEREAS, there has been proposed a traffic survey of the
City of Bremerton, Washington by the Highway Department of the
State of Washington, requiring participation by Federal, State
and local governments and upon the basis of participation in
the cost, estimated in the sum of $18,000.O0, on the basis of
50% by the Federal Government, 25% by the State of Washington,
and 25% by the City of Bremerton, and
WHEREAS, it is considered that such a traffic survey would
be of great benefit to the City of Bremerton and which survey
could not be secured by the City of Bremerton at a reasonable cost
wihout such participation by the Federal and State governments,
NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Bremerton, that the City
participate in such survey and contribute to the cost thereof on
the basis of 25% with the contribution by the Federal Government
of 50% of the cost and by the State of Washington as to 25% of
the cost.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton, signed
by the Mmyor and attes~d by the City Clerk in authentication
of such passage this lgth day of February, 1951.
