following described real estate, and,
W~EREAS, on the 20th day of July, 1955, the City Council,
by motion, directed the Treasurer of the City of Bremerton to sell
said property to the highest bidder at public auction to be held the
29th day of July, 1955, at the hour of ll o'clock A.M. of said day
at the front door of the City Hall in Bremerton, Washington, and,
WHEREAS, THE FIRST PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, of 1221 Chester Ave.
was the highest bidder having bid for said property in the amount
of $2500.00 upon the following terms, to-wit: $500.00 down, the
balance to be paid in monthly installments of ~25.00 or more plus
interest at the rate of 6~ per annum. The first payment to be made
on the 1st day of September, 1955, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton
that the following described real property, situate in Kitsap County,
State of Washington, to-wit:
Lots ll, 12, 13, l~, 15, and 16 in Shephard Addition
be sold to the FIRST PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, for the price and upon
the terms herein set out.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor of the City of Bremer-
ton and the City Clerk be authorized to execute a proper contract
for the sale of said real estate and a deed conveying the premises
in form approved by the City Attorney.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a duplicate original of said
contract be delivered to the FIRST PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, and that a
copy of said contract and the original deed be delivered to the
City Treasurer in escrow and that the City Treasurer be authorized

to deliver said deed to the purchaser under said contract and
grantee therein, upon payment of the full purchase price and
interest.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton, signed
by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in authentication of
'such passage this 3rd day of August, 1955.
