WHEREAS the CITY OF BREMERTON and the TOLL BRIDGE AUTHORITY
of the STATE OF WASHINGTON have entered into an agreement under the
provisions of Section ~7.56.250 RCW, in which the City of Bremerton
has agreed to do the preliminary work relative to the construction
of a second bridge across the Port Washington Narrows, and
WHEREAS it is necessary that the City of Bremerton seuure a
permit from the Chief of Engineers and the Secretary of the Army to
construct a bridge across said Port Washington Narrows.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED b~ the City Council of the
City of Bremerton that the Mayor be and he is hereby authorized to
make formal application to the Chief of Engineers and the Secretary
of the Army for a permit to construct a second bridge across the
Port Washington Narrows as an extension of Warren Avenue in the City
of Bremerton.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Bremerton, signed
by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in authentication of
such passage this 6th day of July, 1955.
