?~HEREAS, the City of Bremerton had heretofore acquired the
following described real estate, and
~Hi]REAS, on the 25th day of April, 1955, the City Council,
by motion, directed the Treasurer of the City of Bremerton to sell
said proDerty to the highest bidder at public auction to be held the
3rd day of May, 1955, at the hour of 11:00 a.m. of said day at the
front door of the City Hall in Bremerton, ~{ashington, and
%~HEREAS, The Allstate Sand & Gravel Co.,. Inc. of Seattle,
~{ashington was the highest bidder having bid for said property in
the amount of 613,500.00 upon the following terms, to-wit: ii}2700.00
down, the balance to be paid in monthly installments of }50.00 or
more ~lus interest at the rate of ~'~'
o~ per annum. The first payment
to be made on the 1st day of June, 1955, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton
that the following described real property situate in Kitsap County,
State of ~ashington, to-wit:
NE~ S~'[¼ SW¼, 'and that portion of the SE~ ~{~ SW~
lying South of State Highway ~lg, all in Section
32, Township 2g N, Range 1 E, ~.H.
be sold to The Allstate Sand & Gravel Co., Inc., for the price and
upon the terms herein set out.
BE IT }URTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor of the City of Bremer-
ton and the City Clerk be authorized to execute a proper contract
for the sale of said real estete and a deed conveying the premises
in form approved by the City Attorney.
~E IT FURTH'Sk ~SOZVED that a duplicate original of said
contract be delivered to The Allstate Sand & Gravel Co., inc., and
that a copy of said contract and the original deed be delivered to
t}~e City Treasurer in escrow and that the City Treasurer be autho-
rized to deliver said deed to the purchaser under said contract
and grantee therein, upon payment of the full purchase price and
interest.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton, signed
by the mayor and attested by the City Clerk in authentication of
such passage this llth dsy of May, 1955.
