WHEREAS, the assessment roll for Local Improvement District No. 250,
providing for the assessment to pay the improvement of East 17th Street from
Ironsides Avenue to Trenton Avenue, Ironsides Avenue from East 16th Street
to East 17th Street, Vandalia Avenue from. East 16th Street to East 17th
Street, has been filed with the City Clerk of the City of Bremerton.
NOW, TP~REFORE, be it resolved that Wednesday the 24th day of
December, 1952, at 10:OO A.M., P.S.T., of said day at the Council Chambers
at the City Hall of the City of Bremerton be and the same is hereby fixed as
the time and place of the hearing upon said assessment roll; a~d,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be and he is hereby
authorized and directed to give notice of the time and place oI' said hearing
to all persons who may ~ave desire to object to such assessment roll to make
such objections in writing and file the same with the City Clerk at or prior
to the date fixed for such hearing, by written notice to the owner or the
reputed owner of the different properties whose name appears upon said
assessment roll by mailing a notice thereo£ at least fifteen days (15) before
the date herein set for such hearing to such owner or reputed owner at the
address of such owner as shown on the tax rolls of the County Treasurer for
the property described on said list and shall further give notice oi' such
hearing by publishing such notice at least l'ive (5) times in the official
newspaper, the last publication of which shall be at least fifteen (15) days
prior to the date herein fixed for said hearing. The above-mentioned
improvement includes the construction of five (5) foot concrete sidewalks and
concrete curbs and gutters and the doing of any and all other work in connect-
ion therewith.
