BE IT RESOLVED by 'the City Council of the City of
Bremerton in regular~ session assembled ~:,hat at a public election to
be held in-this city on the ilth day of February, 1952, there shall
be su0mi',~ted to the qualified voters of the city for their approval
and ratification or rejection, an amendment to Section 66, Article I?
of the Charter of the City of Bremerton, to read as follows:
Section 66. City departme~ts shall be limited to work
on City-owned property, and no department shall do contract or cost-
plus work for individuals or firms except that the ~iunicipal Water
Department may d~ necessary installation, repair, renewal and main-
tenance work on water systems of water districts and others pur-
chasing water from the City.
BE IT FUR±'~k R~OLVLD that the City Clerk shall
cause the foregoing charter amendment to be published for at least
thirty days next precediug the date of election in the ofz'icial
newspaper of 'the City cz Bremerton.
Bm IT i, URTHEK i-h~.5OLYED that the said amendment be
submitted with ballot title prepared by the City Attorney as follows:
Shall Section 66 of the Charter of the City of Brem-
erton be amended to oermit the ~,.iunicipai Water De~rtment to do certain
work of installation, re~air, renewal and maintenance on water sys-
tems of water districts and others who purchase water from the City
of Bremerton.

Every' voter in said election who desires to vote in
favor ol such ~nendment shall place an "x" in the square opposite the
words "For che proposed amenmment" as hereinaoove set forth. Every
voter in said election who desires to vote against such s3r, endment
shall place an~ "x" in the square opposite the words "Against the
proposed amendment~' as hereina~ove set i'orth.
