Section !. That the public interest requires the £ollowing

Section 2. That it is the intention of the City Council of the
~ity of Bremerton to order the ~provement of ~st 17th Street from
Perry Avenue to Nipsic Avenue by the construction of five foot concrete
sideways ~d concrete c~bs and gutters, together with the doing of any
and all other work in connection therewith as ~my be necessa~ to ~ake
s~ch im~orovement a comotete job, all in accordance ~th the plans and
speci~cations to be placed on file in the Office of the City Clerk of
t~e C~%~ o~' i~rem~rton, reference to which is hereby ~de for f~%her
part icuiars.
Section 3. T~ the City Engineer Ol the City' of Bremerton is here-
b~ directed to sachet to the City Co~cil at or prior to the date f~ed
for hearinS protests to sai~ Lv~vrovements, the estimated cost and expense
of such improvement~ a~ a statement of the proportional amount thereof~
whic~ shoui~ be borne by the property within the proposed assessment dist-
rict, and a st~t~ment ~f the a~gregate assessed valuation of the real
estate, exclusive of i~?rov6ments~ within such propose~ district according
to t~e va~a ..... m..m ~s,~ placed upon it for the F~pose of a ~. ~r~l taxation:
