WHEi~EAS, the City of Bremerton, a municipal corporation of the
State of Washington, has made application for Federal assistm~ce for
construction of defense public works under Public Law 139 - 82nd
Congress, for the erection and construction of distribution water
reservoirs in the amount of ~125,500.00, being one-half the estimated
cost thereof; and
~-H-~.REAS, it is necessary that the City of Bremerton appoint a
representative with full authority to negotiate, deal with and con-
fer with proper Federal authorities in connection with the processing

BE IT ~[ESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton
that D. B. ~,~'~HEATON, the duly elected Con~aissioner of Public 'Jorks
and Utilities be, and hereby is, appointed agent and attorney-in-
fact for the City of Bremerton to represent the said City in con-
nection w'ith the processing of said application and to do everything
in relation to the said project and the processing therefor that the
City of Bremerton might or could do by and through its regularly
constituted authorities.
