WHEREAS, heretofore a motorcycle operated by the Police
Department of the City of Bremerton was involved in an accident
with the vehicle o~ed and operated by Albert L. Peterson, in
which accident said motorcycle received serious damages, and
M~EREAS, there has been an offer of settlement and
payment for said motorcycle in the amount of $639.99, NOW,
TH EPJ~F ORE,
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Bremerton that the offer of settlement in said amount of $639.99
be, and hereby is accepted and the Mayor and City Clerk of the
City of Bremerton are hereby authorized to sign releases releas-
ing the said Albert L. Peterson upon payment of the said amount.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton,
signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in authentica-
tion of such passage this ]~i~ day of January, 1953
