City of Bremerton a petition for annexation to said City of Brem-
erton the following described property, to-wit:
Beginning at a point which is the intersection of the
center].ine of vacated 25th ~treet with the Northerly
extension of the West line of Lot 8, Block 1, Adams Replat
of a ]part oi~ Sheridan, as recorded in Volume 6, Page 8,
Plat of Records of Kitsap County, Washington, said point
being on the present City Limit line; thence West along
the centerline of vacated 25th Street to the centerline
of Olympic View Avenue; thence Northerly along the center-
line of Olympic View Avenue ~o its intersection with the
Southerly extension of an alley, the centerline of which
is 280 feet more or less West of the centerline of North
Lafayette Avenue; thence North along the centerline of
said alley to a point 60 feet South of the North line of
Lot l, Tract 2, said Adams Replat of a part of Sheridan;
thence West along a line 60 feet South of and parallel to
said ~orth line of said Lot 1, Tract 2 to the Government
Meanderline; thence Northeasterly, Easterly, and South-
easterly along said meanderline to its intersection with
the center!ine of 26th Street; thence West along said
center]ine of 26th Street, being the present City Lin'~it
line to its intersection with the Northwesterly extension
of the West line of Lot 1, Plat of View Ridge Addition as
recorded i.n Voltm~e 6, Page 2~; thence following the present
City Limit line South along'~'the West line of said Lot 1 ex-
temded, the West ].ine of Lots i to 6 inclusive, and the
Southerly extension of the' West line of Lot 6, all of said
Plat of View ~idge Addition, to its intersection with the
centerline of vacated 25th' Street; thence following the
present City Limit line West along said ce~ter].ine of vacated
25th Street to the ~oint of beginning.;

WHE[dEAS, said petition has: been signed by the owners of not
!ess tha~ 75~ in va~lue acc~:rding to the assessed valuation of gen-
eral. taxation, and ~hat the owners of 79.22% of said property have
signed the petition.
i~OW, THEREFOi~E, BE IT RESOLVED that the petition for annexa-
tfon be, and hereby is approved by the City Council of the City' ~'~f
'~?remerton and that Wednesday, the 15th day of December, 1954, be
and hereby is set for the date for a public hearing on said petition,
a~d that the City Clerk i:e directed to give notice of said public
hearing by publication ia the o££icial city newspaper by one publica-
tion of said notice, and that three copies of said notice be posted
iu three public places within the area proposed to be annexed.
PASSED BY the City Council of the City of Bremerton, signed
by the ~V[ayor a~d attested by the C~.ty Clerk in authentication of such
passage this 8th day of December, i954.
