WHEREAS, there has been filed with the City Council of the
City of Bremerton a petition by the residents of an area outside the
corporate limits of the City of Bremerton, and in and upon property
more particularly described as follows, to-wit:
The Northeast quarter of the Northeast quarter of
Section ll, Township 2& North, Range i East, W.M.
lying South of the area annexed to the City of
Bremerton on May 20, 1953, and August 6, 1953, Kit-
sap County, Washington;
and for the annexation of said described property to the City of Brem-
erton and for an election to vote upon the question of annexation of
said described property to the City of Bremerton, and
WHEREAS, said petition has been considered by the City Council
of the City of Bremerton at a regular meeting thereof.
NOW, THEREFORE, RE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of Bremerton approved the petition for an election to vote upon
the annexation of the property hereinabove described, situated in Kit-
sap County, Washington, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the petitioners named in said
petition, or Proper representatives thereof, be notified of the approval
of their petition by the City Clerk mailing a copy of this resolution
to said petitioners or their representatives, and that a copy of this
resolution be mailed to the Auditor of Kitsap County, Washington, and/or
the Board of County Commissioners of Kitsap County, Washington.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton this 25th
day of August, 195~, signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk
in authentication of such passage.
