WHEREAS, the City of Bremerton is engaged in the construc-
tion and erection of a reservoir in Forest Ridge Park at a cost
in excess of $100,000.00 and the City has in cash the sum of
approximately $13,000.00 which may be applied to the cost there-
of; and
WHEREAS, the City has invested in the United States
Treasury 1967-72 2~% bond '~aich has been held in the Cumulative
Reserve for Water System Improvement Fund and in the amount of
$100,000.00 which has a market price of 100 2/32 as of April l,
195~, and it appears advisable to sell such bond presently.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Bremerton that the United States Treasury 1967-72
bond in the face amount of $100,000.00 be sold and the proceeds
therefrom deposited in the Cumulative Reserve for Water System
Improvement Fund and to be paid therefrom for the cost of the
reservoir.
PASSED UNANIMOUSLY by the City Council of the City of
Bremerton, signed by the Nayor and attested by the City Clerk
in authentication of such passage this 14th day of April, 1954.
