~tEREAS, the assessment roll for Local Improvement District No. 259
providing for the assessment to pay the improvement of East 17th Street from
Perry Avenue to Nipsic Avenue has been filed with the City Clerk of the City
of Bremerton.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved tha~ l~ednesday the 7r~ day of
~'~E~- . , 1954, at lOgO0 A.M., P.$.T., of said day at the Council
Chambers at the City Hall of the City of Bremer~en be and the same is hereby
fixed as the time and place of the hearing upon said assessment roll; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be and he is hereby authorized
and directed to give notice of the time and place of said hearing to all persons
who may have desire to object to such assessment roll to make such objections i~
writing and file the same with the City Clerk at ~r prior to the date fixed for
such .hearing, by written notice to the owner or the reputed owner of the
different properties whose name appears upon said assessment roll by mailing a
notice thereof at least fifteen days before the date herein set for such hearing
to such owner or reputed owner at the address of such owner as shown on the tax
rolls of the County Treasurer for the property described on said list and shall
further give notice of such hearing by publishing such notice at least five
times in the official newspaper, the last publication of which shall be at
least fifteen days prior to the date herein fixed for said hearing. The above-
mentioned improvement includes the construction of fiv~ foot concrete sidewalks
and concrete curbs and gutters, and the doing of any and all other work in
connection therewith.
