~HEREAS, the assessment roll for Local Improvement District No. 258
PAP~ I providing for the assessment to pay the improvement of~ the Alley in
Block 8 of William Bremer' s First Addition between Gregory Way and Burwell
Street from High Avenue to Hewitt Avenue, and,
PART II providing for the assessment to pay the improvement of
Eleventh Street ~e~ween Rainier Avenme amd M~tgomery Avenue,
has been £ite4 with the City Clerk of the City of Bremerton.
NON, THERE,~E, be it resolved that Wednesday the Z?~day of
J~/~u/~y 'i ' 195.~, at 10,00 A.M.' P.S.T., of said day at the
Council Chambers iat the City Hall of the City of Bremerton be and the same
is hereby fixed as the time and place of the hearing upon said assessment
roll; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be and he is hereby
authorized and directed to give notice of the time and place of said hear-
ing to all persons who may have desire to object to such assessment roll to
make such objections in writing and f~ the same with the City Clerk at or
prior to the date fixed for such hearing, by written notice to the ~ner or
the reputed owner of the different properties whose name appears upon said
assessment roll by mailing a notice thereof at least fifteen days before
the date herein set for such hearing to such owner or reputed owner at the
address of such owner as shown on the tax rolls of the County Treasurer
for the property described on said list and shall further give notice of
such hearing by publishing such notice at least five times in the official
newspaper, the last publication of which shall be at least fifteen days prior
to the date herein fixed for said hearing. The above-mentioned improvement
includes PART I-,~he construction of a concrete alley pavement six inches
thick and fourteen feet wide, and PART II-the construction of concrete curbs
and gutters and five foot concrete sidewalks; AND for PART I & PART II the
doing of any and all other work in connection therewith.
