~.~ ~REAS, the assessment roll for Local Improvement District No. 268, providing for
the assessment to pay for the improvement of the alley in Block 3, High School Addi. tion,
between 6th and 7th Streets, from Naval Aw~nue to Olympic Avenue has been filed with the
City Clerk of the City of Bremerton.
N~?, THEREFORE, be it resolved that Wednesday the 2nd day of January ·
l?~?_ at 10:O0 o~clock A. ~., P. S. T., of said day at the Council Chambers in the City
Hall in the City of Bremerton· be and the same is hereby fixed as the time and place of
the hearing upon said roll~ and·
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and he is, hereby directed and auth-
orized to give notice of the time and place of said hearing to all persons who may have
desire to object to such assessment roll to make such objections in writing and file the
same -~ th the City Clerk at or prior to the date set for such hearing, by mailing a
notice to the owner or reputed o~er of the different properties whose name appears
upon ssi d roll by mailing a notice thereof at least l~ da~ befor~ the date herein set
for such hearing to such owner or reputed owner at the address of such ~m~er as shown on
the tax rolls of the County Treasurer for the property described on said list and shall
further give notice of such hearing by publishing such notice at least five times in the
official newspaper, the last pub]fi~cation of which shall be at ]east fifteen days prior~
to the date fixed for such hearing. The above mentioned improvement includes the con-
struction of a concrete alley pavement six inches thick and twelve feet wide, and the
doinE of any and all other work in connection therewith.
PASSED by the City Council, signed by the Nayor and attested by the City Clerk in
