HomeMy WebLinkAbout946 WHEREAS, the City of Bremerton has instituted the Port
Washington Narrows Project, which Project has been activated by
Resolution passed by the Toll Bridge Authority of the State of
Washington; and,
WHEREAS, it is contemplated within this Project that a
viaduct will be constructed from Warren Avenue to Chester Avenue
across the Warren Avenue Playfield; and,
WHEREAS, it is necessary that the City designate
and grant a right-of-way across said Playfield for the construction
of said viaduct; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton
that the City of Bremerton and the Toll Bridge Authority are hereby
authorized to construct a viaduct across the W~rren '~venue Playfield
on the follawing described premises:
That part of Warren Avenue Playfield, which is
comprised of; portions of Lots i to 4 inclusive, Block
8, Warren Smith's Acre Tracts, recorded in Volume 2 of
pltas, page 51, records of KitsaP County Washington;
Lots 18 to 24 inclusive, Block 4, Dietz's Addition, re-
corded in Volume 2 of plats, page 57, records of Kitsap
County ~Jashington, a segment of llth street and of Broad-
way Avenue, and the unpla~tted land in the Northwest quarter
of the Northeast quarter of the Northeast quarter, Section
14, Township 24 North, Range i East, W.M., lying between
the alley North of 9th Street and the East and West center-
line of said Section l~, and between that portion of Broad-
way Avenue lying East of Lots 18 to 25 inclusive, Block
4, Dietz's Addition and Warren Avenue, exclusive of four
parcels in the Southeast corner thereof, that lies within
the follawing described right-of-way:
Beginning at a point on the East and West center-
line of Section l~, Township 24 North, Range i East, W.N.,
which is South 85o21'00" East, 1~2.06 feet from its inter
section with the center line of Chester Avenue; thence
North lO07'15'' East, along the East line of Lot 5,
Block 8, Warrent Smith's Acre Tracts, and the southerly
extension thereof, 55 feet;~thence North 62°33'41" East,
85.37 feet; thence South 80~27'~2'' East, 274.96 feet;
thence North 88°38'14" East 1~6.36 feet to a point on'the
West margin of Waz'ren Avenue; thence South 1°03'02'' West

80.99 feet to a point on said East and West centertine of

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Bremerton that this right-of-way is and shall be considered as
an extension and part of llth stree$.
