WHEREAS, the City of Bremerton has heretofore submitted to
h~ashington Toll Bridge Authority general plans and specifications
of the proposed Port Washington Narrows Project; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Bremerton has under-
taken to secure necessary property and rights-of-way for said
Project; and,
WHEREAS, Washington Toll Bridge Authority, pursuant to the
recommlendations of said City Council, has employed engineers and
appraisers in connection with said Project; and,
WHEREAS, said City Council has heretofore approved the
general financing plan for said project, as submitted by A. C.
Allyn & Company, Incorporated; and,
WHEREAS, A. C. Allyn & Company, Incorporated has submitted
to the City Council the final financing plan for said Project
which is set forth in the proposed Official Statement annexed
hereto as Exhibit A, the proposed RESOLUTION annexed hereto as
Exhibit B, and the proposed Notice of Sale and Bid Form annexed
hereto as Exhibit C, and has submitted a firm agreement to submit
a bid at the sale of said bonds annexed hereto as Exhibit D;
NOW, THERm~FORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BRE~RTON:
Section 1. City Council hereby approves the attached pro-
posed Official Statement marked Exhibit A and recommends that
Washington Toll Bridge Authority adopts same as the Official
Statement.
Section 2. The City Council hereby approves the proposed
RESOLUTION attached hereto marked Exhibit B and the proposed Notice
of Sale and Bid Form annexed hereto as Exhibit C, recommends that
Washington Tol~ Bridge Authority adopts same.

Section 3. The City Council approves the firm agreement of
A. C. Allyn & Company, Incorporated submitted herewith to bid on
the proposed Port Washington Narrows Project Bridge Revenue Bonds
as being in full compliance with their agreement with the City of
Bremerton, accepted June 10, 1953, as amended and heretofore
approved by Washington Toll Bridge Authority and hereby submits
said ~irm agreement to bid to Washington Toll Bridge Authority.
Section 4. The City Council ratifies all of its former
actions and those of Washington Toll Bridge Authority in connec-
tion with the construction and financing of said project and
recommends that the Authority advertises for bids on the bonds
as provided in the RESOLUTION: said bids to be received August
6, 1956.
Section ~.~ The City Council requests Washington Toll Bridge
Authority to take action as promptly as possible in order that
final engineering and design may proceed.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton, signed
by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in authentication of
such passage this 18th day of July, 1956.
