WHEREAS, the City of Bremerton, by Resolution No. 898, hired
TUDOR ENGINEERING COMPANY of San Francisco to prepare the cost
estimates, design and supervise the construction of the Port
Washington Narrows Project; and,
¥~HEREAS, the parties entered into a formal contract to accom-
plish the purposes of said Resolution, dated June l, 1955; and,
~HEREAS, after the commencement of work under said Contract,
it became apparent that it had to be modified in several respects;
and,
WHEREAS, on the 18th day of April, 1956, the parties nego-
tiated a new Contract, a certified copy of which is attached
hereto; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Bremerton, by motion duly made, seconded
and passed by the City Council of the City of Bremerton, approved
said Contract, which approval is shown by certified excerpts of the
minutes of the City Council of the City of Bremerton for April 18,
1956; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CiTY OF BREMERTON,
STATE OF WASHINGTON:
(1) That the City Council of the City of Bremerton hereby
approves, ratifies and confirms said Contract Between the City of
Bremerton and Tudor Engineering Company of San Francisco, and all
work performed or being performed by the Engineer by virtue of
said Contract.
(2) That the City Council of the City of Bremerton hereby
ratifies all of its formal acts and those of the Washington Toll
Bridge Authority in connection with the construction and financing
of the Port Washington Narrows Project.

(3) That the City Council of the City of Bremerton hereby
submits to, and requests the Washington Toll Bridge Authority to
adopt the Agreement between the City of Bremerton and Tudor Engin-
eering Company, dated April 18, 1956, as the engineering and
construction contract for the Port Washington Narrows Project,
to be financed and constructed under the supervision of the
Washington Toll Bridge Authority.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton, signed
by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in authentication of
such passage this l~th day of July, 1956.
