~ amended, meter hoods have been provided by the Police De-
partment when necessary for the loading and unloading of trucks,
and,
WHEREAS the present plan has not been satisfactory;
now,'therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Bremerton that the Chief of Police be and he is hereby authorized
to rent parking meter hoods whenever in his opinion the use will
benefit the flow of traffic or is necessary under the circumstances.
Any person, firm or corporation desiring a parking meter hood
shall apply to the chief~olice upon a form prepared by the Chief
of Police. Each application shall be accompanied with a $5.00
deposit which will be returned to the applicant.upon the return of
the meter hoods in good condition to the Ohief of Police. Failure
to return the hoods or a return of the hoods in a damaged condition
will result in the forfeiture of the $5.00 deposit. In addition
thereto the applicant shall pay for the use thereof the sum of 505
per day or for ~. ~,~t of day ~.~e~- hood.. Any funds collected hereunder
shall be remitted to City Treasurer and deposited in the General
F~nd of the City.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of
Bremerton, signed by the M~yor and atteste~by the City Clerk in
