petitioned the Washington State Public Service Couission for an
increase in telephone rates; and,
~HEREAS, such am increase would affect telephone users
in the City of Bremerton; and,
~HEREAS, the City of Bremer~on is opposed to an increase
in telephone rates at this time; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Bremerte'n that the Washington State Public Service Comission be
and it is hereby requested to deny the petition by the Pacific
Telephone and Telegraph Company for an increase in telephone rates.
RE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk of the City
of Bremerton be and he is hereby directed to send a certified copy
of this Resolution to the Public Service Co~mission of the State
of Washington.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Bre~er~on,
signe~d by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in authentication
of such passage this 16th day of October, 1957.
