De~rtment off Highways, it is necessary and ad~isable flor the
State of ~ashin~ton to acq~re title to a st~p of l~d acre-ss
the aforesaid parcels, as more particularly described in E~ibit
A, attached hereto and by this reference ~de a p~t off this
resolution; and,
~E~EAS, affter due consideration by the City
off the City of Bremerton, it appears to said Council that
be ~ ~e best interests of ~th the City of Bremerton ~d the
State of Washington that said lands be conveyed to the State of
Washington by quit claim deed for a consideration of Five Thousand
Eight Hundred and Fifty ($5,850.00) Dollars; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton
that the Mayor and the City Clerk of the City of Bremerton be
and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute a deed
conveying the aforesaid property for the aforesaid consideration
to the State of Washington, Department of Highways, in accordance
with Chapter 266 of the Laws of 19~3.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of
Bremerton, signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in
authentication of such passage this 2~th day of July, 1957.
