Section 3~ That the City E~ of the City of Rremertma is hereby directed

said improvements, the estimated coat am~ expense of such ~mprovememt, and a state-
merit of the proportional ~t t~ereof, which a~zl~ be borne by the property
within the proposed assessment diatric~ aad a Itatement of the aggregate assessed
velmation cf the real estate, exclmaive of ~ents, within such proposed district
according to the valuation last placed mpon it for the purpose of a general taxation,
together with a diagram or plan showimg thereem the lots, tracts, and parcels of ~ and
ether property which shall be speciall~ beaef~ted thereby and the estimated amount of
the cost and e~pense of such improvements to be borme by such lot, tract cr parcel of
laml or other property.

Washington or other g,~m~ental agency~ s~ he assessed against said property

of the date of such hearing to each c~ner or reputed o~ner of ,any amd all lots,
tracts, or parcels of land or other property specially benefited by the imprOVe-
ment, by ~a~l~,ng to the 9.~er or reputed ~er of the property ac shown on the
tax rol~ cf the County Treasurer, at the address shown thereon, a notice setting
forth the nature of the proposed improvement, the total estimated cost and the
estimated benefits to the particular lot, tract, or parcel, and the date of t he
hearing before the City Council at least 15 days before the date fixed herein
for such hearinge

of hearing protest against said improvements by am~ persons interested therein;
and the City Clerk be and is hereby anthorized and ~irected to publish a c~py of

issues, the first issue to be at least 15 days prior to the date herein fixed for
said hearing, and said publication, together with the mailing of the notices here-
inabove provided to the owners or re~,ated owners of the lots, tracts, or parcels of
laud included in such imprcvem~ut as hereinabove set forth, shall be due and legal
notice to all concerned in said improvement~.
