BE IT HESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNOIL (~ Tm~ CITT OF B~TON:
Section 1. That the public im~eree~ requires the fo]lowing improvemembs
to be made.
~ectiom 2. That it is the imbe~tion of the City Council of the City of
Bremertom to order the ~-proveme~ of Ir~es Avemue, from Shore Drive to East
llth S~reet, by the co~strmction of five foo~ cm~rete sidewalks, comorete curbs
and g~tters, together with the ~ of am~ amd all other work in connection
therewith as may be mecessary to make ~zmh iz~roveme~ a complete Job, all in
accordance with the plains and spe~ifie&~Lm ~o be placed ~ File in the Office
of the City Clerk of the City of ~remer~em re~.~ere~ce to which is here~y made for
further particulars.
Section 3. That the City Emgimeer of ~be City of Bremerto~ is hereby
directed to submit to the City C~mmoil a~ or $~ior to the date fixed for hearing
Pretests to said im~rovement~, the estimated cost and expense of such improve-
ment, and a statement of the proporbio~al a~ ~hereof, ~hich should be borme
by the property within the propoeed usesmaem$ district, and a statement of the
aggregate assessed valuation of the real estate, exclusive of tmprovemembs, with.
in such proposed a~,trict according to the valuation last placed upon it for the
purpose of a gemeral taxation, together ztth a diagram or plau showing thereon
the lots, trac~s, and parcels of la~ am~ o~her property which sh~l~ be specially
benefited thereby amd the est~w~ted ammua$ of ~he cost ami expense of smch

wherein the special bemefits comfe~Z~d upom the property are mot fairly reflected

Sectic~ 5. That the City Clerk be and he is hereby directed to give notice
of the date of such hearing to each owner or reputed ~,-uer of aw and all lots,
tracts, or parcels cf land or other property specially benefited by the
imprevemeht by mailiug to the owner or reputed owner of the property as shown
on the tax roll _- of the Cc~nty Treasurer, at the address shown thereon, a
notice setting forth the nature of the proposed improvement, the total estimated
cost and the estimated benefits to the particular lot, tract, or parcel, and
the date of the heL~ing before the City Council at least 15 da~s before the date
fi~ed herein f= such hearing.

therein; and the City Clerk be and is hereby authorized and directed to publish
a copy of this Resolution in the official newspaper of said City for at least

herein fixed for said hearing, and said publication, together with the mailing
of the notice's hereinabove provided to the ~w.-.ers or reputed owners of the lots,
tracts, or parcels of land included in such improvement as hereinabove set forth,
shall be due and legal notice to all concerned in said improvements.
