WHEREAS, there has been filed with the City Council
of the City of Bremerton s Petition by the residents of the
territory known as Marine Drive and Lower Marine DriYe and
upon property more particularly described ssfollows:
Beginning at a point where the southwesterly
margin of the Northeasterly approach of Marine Drive
to Primary State Highway No. 21 intersects the nor-
therly margin of said State Highway; thence Westerly
and Northerly alona the southwesterly margin of said
Marine Drive approach, being a curve to the right,
to its point of tangency with the center!ine of
Marine Drive; thence Northerly along the cent erline
of ~rine Drive to its intersection wit~ the line
di¥iding Sections 15 ~nd 16, twp 2g N, Range 1 E,
W.M.; thence North along the line dividing said
Sections 15 and 15, and Sections 9 and 10, Twp 2~ N,
R 1 E, W.M., to the meander line of Mud Bay; thence
following said meander line Northerly, Westerly
Southerly, Easterly and Northerly, around the pen-
insula w~ich is the environs of M~rine Drive, which
is to be know as"Marine Drive Point',' and continuing
along said meander line Southerly to its intersection
with the present City Limit which is the ~i~.~st and
West centerline of Section 15, Twp 2~ N~ Range 1 E,
W.M.; thence follov~ng the present City Limits East
line of the West Quarter of said Section 15; thence
South to the East and West centerline of the North-
east [uarter of the Southwest ~.~[uarter of said Sec-
tion 15 with the Northwesterly margin of said State
Highway; tkence Northeasverly along s~id North-
westerly mar~!Lin of State Highway to the North and
South centerline of theNortheast ~uarter of the South-
west Quarter to the East and West Centerline of said
Section 15; thence North to the East and ~est
Centerline of said Section 15; thence Easterly to
the intersection of said East and West centerline
of said Sect~.on 15 with the Northwesterly marklin of
siad State Highway; thence Northeasterly along
said Northerly margin of State Highway to the
point of beginning.
and for the annexation of said described property to the City
of Brem~ton and for an election to vote upon the question of
annexation of said described propensity to the said City of
Breme ?ton and
WHEREAS, said Petition has been considered by the
City Council of the City of Bremerton,
NOW THL)~E~O[~E, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
of the City of Bremerton approve the Petition for an election
to vote upon the annexation of that property hereinbefore
described situated in Kitsap County, Washington.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Petitoners named ~erein
or representatives thereof be notified of the approval of the
Petition by mailing a cody of' this resolution to said Petitioners
or representatives of said Petiti3~ners and that a co oy of this
resolution be mailed to th~ Auditor of Kitsap County~ Washington~
and/or the Board of County Commissioners of Kitsap County~
Washington.
