WHEREAS, the Creator in His divine wisdom has removed
from this earthly sphere our respected associate and beloved
friend, Clifford C. Casad; and,
W]qEREAS the City of Bremerton has suffered a grievous
loss in his passlns from the scene of official performance in
its behalf; and,
WHEREAS his absence will create a void in the daily
lives of those with whom he has been associated down through the
years; and,
~q~EREAS it is the desire of the City of i~remerton and
his associates to register their personal sorrow ~t his passing
.and to conserve his memory for those who come after us;
NOW THER~ORE BE IT RESOLED that the City of Bremerton
does herewith express its feeling of gratitude for the years of
f~ithful and loyal service rendered it in his long tenure of
official duty and in further appreciation of such service the
L.~ter st6ring dam situated on the Union i{iver is hereby named and
shall~ henceforth be kno~ as Casad Dam, and
BE IT ~'U~TH?~R I~ESOLI~ED that this resolution be spread
on the minutes as a p!~rt of the official record, and that copies
be sent to his immediate relatives ~s ~n expression of our sym3athy
i~ their oereavement.
PASSED AND APPR0¥ED by the City Council of the City of
Bremerton signed by the f, iayor and attested by the City Clerk in
authentication of such passage this /~ ~ day of October, 1958.
