of an alley running between Lots 10 and 11 of Halverson's 2nd
Addition should be vacated, and that the public interest will be
better served by vacating said ....... ~"
NOW TP~J~EFORE~ be it resolved by the City Council that a
hearing shall be had on the 5th day of August, 1959, in the Council
Chamber, in the City Hall, in the City of Bremerton, at the hour of
10 o'clock a.m. to determine whether or not the alley, described as
follows:
An alley running between Lots 10 and 11 of Halverson
second Addition, as s~ on the plat recorded in
Volume 8 of plats, page 15, records of Kitsap county,
Washington, EXCEPT for that portion of said alley
contained in a strip of land 8 feet in width, being
4 feet on each side of the following described center-
line: Beginning at the intersection of the westerly
margin of Halverson Avenue with the centerline of
above mentioned alley~ thence northwesterly along
said centerline 115 feet, more or less, to a point
which is S.7°52'50' W 10.00 feet from the southwest
corner of above named Lot 11.
should be vacated~ and that the City Clerk shall give notice of said
hearing by posting in three of the most p~lic places in the City of
Bremerton and in a conspicious place upon said alley to be vacated a
copy of said notice, and in addition thereto the City Clerk, not less
than 15 days before the 5th day ~ of August, 1959, shall send a Uopy of
said notice to the owners or reputed owners of all lots, tracts or
parcels of land abutting upon said alley as shown by the records of the
County Treasurer and directed to the addresses thereon shown.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of
Bremerton~ signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in
