W~EREAS, the City of Bremer%on had heretofore acquired
the following described real estate, and
WHEREAS, it is the intention of the City of Bremer~on to
sell certain property located on South Montgomery Street to
the Bonneville Power Administration, and
WHEREAS, there are certain encroachments existing on %he
Northly edge of said property and in order to clearly define
the boun~ry of said parcel of land the property hereinafter
described, be sold, and
WHEREAS, Phillip H. Washington and Rebecca Washington,
husband and wife, the owners of the property just North of the
Tract herein described, and in order to determine the boundary
between their property and the City proper~y have offered to
purchase the property hereinafter described for the sum of
~250.O0 upon the following terms, to-wit: $20.00 down, the
balance to be paid in monthly installments of $15.O0 or more,
including interest at the rate of 6% per annum. First payment
to be made on the first day of May, 1959, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton
that the following described real property situate in Kitsap
County, State of Washington, to-wit:
North lO feet of Lot 19, Block 7, Charleston.
be sold to Phillip H. Washington and Rebecca Washington,
husband and wife,-for the price and upon the terms herein set
out.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor of the City of
Bremerton and the City Clerk be authorized ~o execute a proper
contract for the sale of said real estate and a deed convey-
ing the premises in form approved by the City Attorney.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a duplicate original of said
contract be delivered to Phillip H. Washington and Rebecca
Washington, and that a copy of said co~tract and the original
deed be delivered to the City Treasurer in escrow and that the
City Treasurer be authorized to deliver said deed to the pur-
chaser under said contract and grantee therein, upon payment
of the full purchase price and interest.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton, signed
by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk iK~ a~hentication
