Section 1. That the r~ublic interest requires the foxing improvement 6o

Section 2. T~% it is the intention of the City Council of the City of Bremer%on
~o order the improve~n% of Ch~ Avenue, from Sherid~ Road ~o 87~ feet North~
~nRberg Plane; Oiblett P~ce; ~d both all~ in the Plat of Halverson Third Addition
South of (~_blett Place by the 'construction of ~ 8 inch s~it~y sewer ~d ~op~tenances;
together ~th ~e doing of any ~d all other work in co~ection tn~a~th as may be
necessa~ 6o make such ~provemen% a cgmplete job~ all ~ accordsmce ~_%h the
~d spec~ications on file in the Office of the City ~ineer of the City of ~emerton~
reference to v~ich is hereby made for f~%her p~ticnl~s.
Section 3. That the City E~ineer of the City of ~em~%on ~ her::~by directed 6o
submit to the City C~ncil at or nrior to the date ~xed for ~aring protests 6o ~id
improve:~ents~ the estimat~d cost and e~nse of such improvemen%~ ~d a statement of the
proportional amount %hereof~ w~D. ch should be bo~e by the property vd_thin the proposed
assessment c~strict~ ~d a s'batement of the aggregate assessed validation of the real
estate, exclusive of i~oro~ments, ~'~_thin such proposed ~.strict according to the
v~uation last placed upon it for -the p~ose of a general t~ation~ together with
the est~ated ~o~t of the cost and e~e~a of such improvements to be bornc bz~ the
lots, tracts, or parcels of land or other property w~ch shall be specially benefited
th er eby.
Section ~. That the cost and e~nse of said improv~ent to be borne by said
~aprove~ent district ~d exclusive of any portion borne by either the State of
Vf~hin~:~ton or other ~%overmmental azency~ shall be assessed ~ainst said pro~rty
included in said impr~ement district in proportion to s aid area, excevt wherein
the special behests co. erred uvon the property are not fairly reflected ~ the

Resolution No.
Section ~. That the City Clerk be and he is hereby directed to give notice
of the date of such hearing to each o'maer or reouted ~er of any and all lots,
tracts, or parcels of last or other property specially benefited by the improvement
by mailing to the owner or reputed owner of the property as shovm on the tax rolls
of the County Treas~mer, at the addrets shown thereon, a notice setting forth
the nat~e of the proposed improvement~ the total establistmd cost and the
estimated benefits to the particular lot, tract, or parcel~ and the dale of the
hearimg before the City Council, at least 1~ days before the date fLxed herein
for such he,ring.
Section 6. That Wedfiesday the 4th day of Narch, 19~9 at 10:00 o'clock A.~.,
P.S.T., of said day be and the same is hereby fixed as the date of hearing protests
against said improvements by any persons interested therein; and the City Clerk
be and he is hereby authorized and directed to publish a co~ of this Resolution
in tb~ official newspaper of said City for at least two successive issues, the
first issue to be at least 1~ days v~rior to the date herein _~_xed for said hearing~
~ad said p~blmc~.,,t.~_on, together v~th t_he mailing of the notices hereinabove provided
to the ov~ers or reputed ~vners of the lots, tracts, or parcels of land included
in such improvement a-!~ hereinabove set forth, shall be due and legal notice to
all concerned in said Lmprove~nts.
