WHEREAS, the City of Bremerton has sold the Civic
Recreation Center to School District iO0-C and has on deposit
in a suspense account in the treasurers office the sum of
$25,000.00, and
WHEREAS, Minnie A. Foss and Olga M. Poindexter for and
in consideration of the promises of the City of Bremerton to
perpetually care for Lot 1, subdivision E, Charleston cemetery
to convey to the City of Bremerton Lot 25, Block & Dietz's
Addition, ajacent to the Warren Avenue playfield.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Bremerton that the City Treasurer be and she is here-
by directed and authorized to transfer from the funds now in
her hands, acquired through the sale of the Civic Recreational
Center, the sum of $&O0.O0 to the Cemetery for the sole and
exclusive purpose of providing perpetual care to Lot 1 sub-
division E of the Charleston Cemetery.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be and he is
hereby authorized to accept on behalf of the City of Bremerton
and file with the County Auditor the deed executed by Minnie
A. Foss and Olga M. Poindexter conveying to the ~ity the afore-
said real property.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of
Bremerton, signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk
in authentication of such passage this~/~day of February, 19~9.
